WHO IS NIC ROLLO?
I’ve been recording and making music since I was 15. For the longest time, I found myself frustrated working with producers and engineers (spare a few) who could not seem to understand or achieve the vision I was chasing.
After covid hit, I decided to learn how to produce and mix myself, and since then my mission has been to be one of Perth’s best music producers – to help artists around the world (and in my hometown) realise their musical visions and create memorable records. I love experimentation and pushing boundaries, if you like that too, then we will get along great!

Mixing
Mixing is where your song comes to life. I focus on clarity, energy and emotional impact—balancing all the elements so your track hits the way it should. You’ll be involved throughout, with revisions and feedback until it sounds exactly how you imagined it (or better).
Mastering
Mastering gives your music the final polish it needs to sound great everywhere. I’ll make sure your track translates across platforms and speakers, with warmth, loudness and space in all the right places. It’s subtle, but it’s what makes a finished track feel finished.

Through my journey as a music producer, I’ve learnt how producers hold back knowledge. So, I built The Producer Place – a space for producers and artists to learn the ins and outs of producing and mixing. I’ve packed it with free tools, presets, templates and downloads to help you grow and create better.

Music Distribution
A lot of indie artists struggle with the maze of online distribution. So, I started Reflector Records – a platform that lets the artists I work with release their tracks to all major streaming platforms. It’s just one more way I help artists stay focused on the creative and get their music heard by people who need to hear it.

In between projects, I like to create music of my own. I don’t chase it as a career – it’s just a creative outlet that lets me experiment, improve, and stay inspired. Writing, recording and producing for myself sharpens the skills I bring to the table when I’m working with other artists on their songs, EPs or full albums.
An Instrumental Project for a Better Future
The world is pretty f***** up. Everywhere we look there seems to be misery and disaster, and it’s incredibly overwhelming.
​I decided to release some music that would be 100% donated to humanitarian aid in war-torn places like Gaza. This manifested into an album called ‘Songs to help someone else’ and an EP ‘Beats for a better future’. ​I’m also donating 10% of the rest of my catalogue.
The world’s felt pretty heavy lately, and I wanted to do something that might help in a small way. I put out an album and an EP where 100% of the proceeds go to humanitarian aid in places like Gaza. I’m also donating 10% of everything else I release.
